Security Services Northwest ssnwhq.com Security Services Northwest (SSNW) needed to exchange the outdated content management system (CMS) supporting its legacy website for a more robust one that could grow with the agency and its expanding regional footprint. The marketing team also wanted to energize the company’s visual identity through a refreshed homepage; to retool the site’s cumbersome menu systems into streamlined content sections; and to improve the user experience for employees logging into the site to check on work assignments. Our UX team went to work, mapping content, realigning, and condensing the site’s navigation to make wayfinding intuitive. From there, our designers took the core elements of SSNW visual brand, including its beloved German Shepherd service dog, and transformed the site’s home page and key landing pages from text-heavy to attention-grabbing, leveraging candid images, colorful content blocks, iconography, and compelling calls to action to help move visitors through important content to points of conversion. Our design team worked with the Drupal specialists at Freelock Computing to implement our page designs in the site’s new CMS, and then engaged our DevOps team to assemble an ongoing support package when SSNW requested website hosting, monitoring, and routine maintenance post-launch.
